Clay Mask combines the detoxification properties of Montmorillonite green clay and the barrier protection properties of Illite green clay to work synergistically to provide a protective barrier so the skin can rehydrate and heal itself, while at the same time helping to remove trapped dead skin cells to reveal a brighter more radiant complexion. Montmorillonite clay naturally detoxifies the skin, removes skin surface contaminants and attaches itself to dead skin cells which are removed with a cool water rinse.

Protective barrier to help stop the loss of water due to evaporation, a process known as trans epidermal water loss. The process of trans epidermal water loss decreases the skin’s natural ability to properly exfoliate dead skin cells; Illite green clay helps the skin increase hydration to diminish this process.
