In 1946 Sothys was a beauty institute in Paris where a few exclusive clients were enjoying Dr Hotz products. Today, Sothys is known as one of the most prestigious professional brands with worldwide recognition. Sothys has a unique and very strong foundation, backed up by more than sixty years of experience serving professional beauty therapists all over the world. In 1966, Sothys was acquired by the Mas family who later turned the original Sothys Institute in Paris from a single treatment room to a premium beauty centre equipped with 15 treatments rooms, by relocating to an adjacent building in the Faubourg Saint Honoré. The new Institute was described as the most luxurious and most glamorous in Paris, and it became a real showcase for the brand Sothys. Today it is still contributing greatly to its success.
