The Intensif microneedle handpiece has been clinically proven to provide a revolutionary collagen remodeling solution for acne scars, pockmarks, deep wrinkles and stretch marks. It works by applying an array of gold-plated, tapered micro-diameter needles deep into the skin to precisely deliver radiofrequency energy. Since radiofrequency technology targets water instead of melanin, Intensif provides a safe & efficient option for fractional skin remodeling in people of all skin types—including those with darker skin, lighter/more sensitive skin, and even tanned skin in the summer months.
Intensif provides the only mechanized, shock-free needle insertion that physicians can completely control, including needle depth, allowing for 5 times deeper treatments than fractional lasers and 3 times faster treatments than other needle technologies available today. While older fractional remodeling technologies left scarring, redness, risk of hyperpigmentation, Intensif offers a fresh look at microneedling, targeting deeper layers of the skin (up to 3.5 MM) with little to no epidermal damage:
No external cooling
Minimal redness post-procedure Minimal downtime
No hyperpigmentation No scarring
EndyMed uses proprietary 3DEEP® RF technology, the safest and most effective technology available today for fractional skin resurfacing as well as skin tightening and body contouring. 3DEEP tightens and firms the skin by stimulating your body’s collagen renewal process, heating deep into the skin to provide better, more effective results without the risk of side effects and need for external cooling.
The EndyMED RF Fractional Procedure:
During the procedure, the laser uses heat to create tiny holes deep in the skin. The process removes sun-damaged tissue and then stimulates the growth of healthy, new skin, full of fresh collagen. This plumps the skin from below, repairing photodamage and other skin imperfections.
What does “fractional” mean? How does the EndyMED RF Fractional treatment work?
Fractional therapy describes a treatment that affects only a fraction or small percentage of the skin. With EndyMED RF Fractional, laser pulses treat damaged cells deep in the skin. This fractional treatment selectively heats columns of tissue leaving the surrounding skin intact. This treatment shortens healing time and stimulates the body’s own natural process for creating new collagen, plumping the skin from below and reversing photo aging and other imperfections.
Tiny columns (the size of a pore) ensure maximum results with minimal risk and down time.
Controlled energy means a more comfortable patient experience
Treatments are safe and effective with rapid recovery.
EndyMED RF Fractional’s deep ablation and controlled thermal zone delivers maximum results with superior patient comfort and minimal downtime.
- Indicated for moderate to severe photoaging.
- Controlled thermal zone minimizes risk of PIH and other complications.
- Single treatment results are possible because our large 300 micron spot size ablates enough tissue in one pass, however for severely damaged skin, up to four treatment may be required.
- Wound healing causes increased fibroblast activity and long term collagen deposition.
- Improvement is realized over a six month period.
- A recent comparative study to other fractional devices demonstrated that EndyMED RF Fractional was a more comfortable patient experience; furthermore, the treatment is possible with only topical anesthetics and/or local nerve blocks.
How many treatments are recommended?
Most patients will see significant improvement after just one treatment. In cases where there is severe scarring or sun damage, more treatments may be necessary.
Who is a candidate for a EndyMED RF Fractional treatment?
Patients with light-to-medium skin tones and skin imperfections due to aging, post acne scarring and sun damage will benefit from a EndyMED RF Fractional treatment.
What areas of the face can be treated?
EndyMED RF Fractional can treat the entire face and is uniquely effective in the delicate periorbital (around the eyes) and perioral (around the mouth) areas. These areas often show the first signs of aging and can be the most challenging to treat.
Are there any restrictions on my activity after a EndyMED RF Fractional treatment?
After treatment, the skin looks sun burnt, is red and swollen. Pin spot bleeding and oozing is also a common post procedure effect. Discomfort is reported after treatment and is easily managed with the correct aftercare. Most patients take a few days off work. During post care, patients apply an occlusive ointment to the skin for four to five days, specific make up can be used within 72 hours afterwards if desired. It is very important that there is little or no sun exposure after the treatment for a period of up to 6 months.
