Eyelash Extensions and Eyelash Tint
This treatment begins with an eyelash tint to darken your natural eyelashes. Following single strands of thicker and longer eyelashes are applied to your own eyelashes to create an elegant and glamorous look. Enhance your eyes!
How long do my eyelash extensions last for?
Eyelash extensions can last up to two months but this depends on the growth cycle of your eyelashes. We recommend having a touch up 2-3 weeks as the natural growth cycle of an eyelash is 60-90 days. As an eyelash falls out another one is replaced, so your extensions will have to be replenished.
How safe is this treatment?
The treatment is pain free and relaxing. We use only the highest quality lashes in the industry Xtreme Lashes® and the best adhesives. The adhesives have the same ingredient used by plastic surgeons in the USA for suture wound closure.
How can I best look after my lashes?
How you care after your lashes is very important to maximise their longevity. We recommended the following:
- Avoid wetting your lashes in the first 24 hours following treatment.
- Avoid and minimise your visit to saunas, steam rooms, swimming and tanning salons in the first 48 hours as the heat could cause the lashes to become unstuck.
- After 24 hours apply Protective Coating (an after care product available from us) once every 7-10 days.
- Sleep on your back the first night and in the morning brush your lashes with a mascara wand.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes and be gentle with your lashes.
- Avoid using a mechanical eyelash curler.
- Avoid using at home products with Alpha & Beta Hydroxy acids.
- Do not use oil proof or water proof mascara as they could dissolve the adhesive.
- Only use water base face cleansers.
- Be gentle when removing eye makeup and avoid inferior eye makeup removers.
Your therapist will recommend a professional quality eye makeup remover, cleanser, mascara, protective coating and eyelash curler to help you care for and maintain your lashes, thus maximising your investment. We want them to last as long as you do!
